I really like this knife - it's sharp, easy to clean and the julienne blade makes thin, not-quite-square cuts that are the right size cut burdock and carrots for roasting or Campara gobos (as always, easier to manipulate with the right hand). The handle of a paring knife is a bit short - it's comfortable to hold for slicing, but not suitable for use on a cutting board. . It is in order. The knife snaps into the knife handle for protection and storage. So the handle of the knife is hollow. There is no drain hole at the end of the handle, so washing means water is getting in and out of a very deep, narrow, dark space. Not perfect. I also wish the knife blade covers were the kind you squeeze to remove rather than the kind you pry open on one side. All in all it's not perfect and I might end up blowing a hole. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.
