I would give this thing 5 stars because it did an incredible job of chewing through everything we put into it. The machine runs like a champ and can handle the heavy load we put on it. We have about 40 people in the office who use this thing most of the time. The only complaint I have is with the plastic panel that senses when the bag is full. We've already broken two of them. The first one to break became a problem. We called the manufacturer, who insisted on sending a specialist here. The boy Jerry who appeared immediately threw the device on its side and then filled our brand new carpet with oil. When this one broke I didn't even buy a new one. Instead, I cut a new one out of 1/16" mild steel and welded on pins to fit the groove. Success! The shredder itself is a wonderful piece of equipment and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a quality machine. But beware of this stop plate. I don't recommend even using the included wire bag holder as it's the culprit for breaking the panel. Just find a slightly shorter plastic container or something similar and line it up with the kitchen. Garbage bag and you're in good shape.
