This is a great way to connect to a fuse box without having to cut or splice wires or lose fuses by disconnecting them for another purpose. I've used them a few times and they're particularly handy for hooking up to a power source that only turns on when the headlights are on and I don't have to think much. For example I bought a compass with a built in flashlight but I didn't want it to run 24/7 and wanted the light to only come on when I needed it so I could use a fuse to protect the headlight, so that the compass light illuminates only when the headlights are on. Your owner's manual describes what each fuse protects, so finding the right fuse to "plug in" isn't difficult. One note: the product description says "Compatible with mini blade fuses" at one point, which is an error.
