Review on Tendak Composite Converter Adapter Supporting by Willie Midkiff

This item worked as expected except for one small complaint. I use it to connect my PS4 to my old tube TV. I connected everything correctly and even hooked it up to an extension cord for power. However, when I play a PS4 game in FULL 720p, 1080i, 1080p, this thing flickers a rainbow color and makes crazy popping noises for a second or two and then resets itself from time to time. I think it's a power issue (as I mentioned, I get power from a power strip, not directly from an outlet, which can make a difference. Looking at the unit, the blue light seems to go off when it does did that happen). When I'm playing Batman or Nba 2k, it's definitely noticeable when special effects or special camera angles come into play. The workaround I found is to go into the PS4 settings on XMB and set the output resolution to 480p. Anything above that will make the flicker permanent. I don't recall ever having any flickering when everything was set to 480p. As an added bonus, using 480p makes the in-game text more readable (but still hard to read because it's so small). While playing NBA 2k in full 1080p trying to decode the menu will definitely take some time. But overall I would recommend this item as I can play on my PS4 without any issues and the sound works well.
