What a really cheap and disappointing product. You would think that for the money of this faucet it would be really good. The temperature lever is plastic and "snaps loosely" onto a plastic cap that (the cap, not the lever) threads onto the valve stem. It requires 2 hands to operate because when you turn the temperature lever, the flow lever also turns, so you have to hold the flow lever while turning the temperature lever, which is just awkward. If you hit the end of the plastic temperature lever, it will fall onto the shower floor. It is installed correctly. I called Delta and they sent me a new grip but I will be returning the entire fairing set. Please don't waste your money on this. What really took the cake was when I had a Delta on the phone, the rep said. "Yes, I understand that I don't like that either"
