Excellent lamps. The instructions were a little wrong, but I figured it out. Only the top row of remote controls controls the light. The rest of the buttons on the remote don't work, but you don't need them. For anyone who had trouble programming the light: program the light at the time you want it to turn on. (I programmed mine for 5pm and they turn off at 11pm.) Press the black button on the battery compartment to cycle through the options until you get to the one you want. Point the remote towards the battery compartment, press Off, press On, press Timer (the LED will flash once to indicate it has been set). The light is still bright even after 15 days. I hope for a good month with batteries. Although I haven't used it, mine came from USB, contrary to what some other reviewers have experienced.
