The lighting worked well and I usually give 5 stars. For the first week (indoor use) we used the batteries and the lights dimmed noticeably so we bought a USB powered docking station which kept them bright at all times. During today's disassembly, all the batteries were rusty and warm, a sign that the USB power supply was overloading them. Either use the batteries separately or remove them to use USB power.

I bought these lights for our caravan. It has USB sockets for charging phones etc. These lights are just perfect! There are many flashing or static modes, they are yellowish and not too bright. I don't like many modern LED bulbs that are too bright bluish. They are nice and warm but bright enough. They worked great and the remote control was perfect. Excellent purchase!

I was shocked. They were for outdoor lighting, too far from home for extension cords. They have a timer that is set for 6 hours, then off at 6pm and on again at 6am. The light lasted all month. When I got home tonight the ones I haven't taken are still on. Some investigation needs to be done as the second order came without the ability to only run 6 at 6 hour intervals. At first these lights seemed to be just what I was looking for. They were easy to use and added a nice shine to my wood. I tested them this morning after only running for about an hour and the battery case was so hot it warped and one of the batteries (which was brand new) started cracking. You may not need batteries if you are using the USB feature, but in that case I think it should be clearly stated somewhere. If I hadn't noticed it this morning, it might have caught fire. Excellent lamps. The instructions were a little wrong, but I figured it out. Only the top row of remote controls controls the light. The rest of the buttons on the remote don't work, but you don't need them. For anyone who had trouble programming the light: program the light at the time you want it to turn on. I installed them near my apartment. Since there is no external power outlet in front of my device, I used a USB connection along with a 2 USB output adapter that I purchased separately.
