Not the magic solution you're hoping for, but it works well in many cases.

all circumstances. This is no exception. However, this is still probably one of the best decisions you can make as they work well in many circumstances. For example, they are ideal for denim and other heavy cotton fabrics. They will not work on satin, silk, or lace. Some materials change color slightly when heated, others require hand washing to bring out all the color. Always test on a scrap piece if you need to mark white fabrics. All in all, they are worth buying. as they work well in many common cases. Just don't think that they will solve everything. I recommend, Complement these pens with a good chalk solution, either Chaco pens or chalk triangles. Please note that I do NOT recommend chalk pens that use hard leads (like mechanical pencils), only use those that use powder leads. This is because the hard version takes too much force to make a mark and the point is so small and sharp that it can tear through many thinner fabrics. dries after approx. 4 months. So if you only deal with the sewers every now and then, you might want to keep that in mind. They give you a number of refills and the price is reasonable for extra refills. But it still doesn't work, it doesn't help if you start a project, after putting everything off for a few months and not being able to mark the template because the pens are dry. So just for your information.

Pros
