Initially, the bristles were very stiff. However, it worked well for me because I wanted to use the brush more as an exfoliant. The brush worked fine for a while (a month or two maybe?) but then I noticed these white things in the shower. It turned out that the bristles fell out of the brush. I also expected the brush to be longer, but it's not; It's on the medium sized side (compared to other back brushes) but maybe a bit longer. If you plan not to use it for a long time, this product is for you.
