One of my absolute favorite sneakers from the early 80's when I grew up with Adidas superstars and suede cougars. My mom bought me some of these when I was growing up because I loved them so much, but no, they don't look identical to the ones from the 70's and 80's, they looked a lot better, the hard soles looked rougher and more consistent to the die entire outsole was thicker and if you compare their photos to the vintage models, the Nike Swoosh logo on the side of the sneakers looked much better. These newer models looked bland, as seductive as those of the past, and the blue or from the past was prettier, and the suede front and back was prettier. darker and faded than the nylon part which gave them a better look and if you look closely at the vintage models from the side they look dull and ordinary while the old models looked like a sneaky shark from the side. just beautiful on the outside, wish they made them the same as before, but still nice sneakers, and please order half a size bigger, nike cortez always run small, everyone has them at my house, wife, kids, u all. need half a size bigger.
