I need a rug for my house that is flat and strong enough not to be pulled/ripped from the door to my rented house which had a sharp edge that would rip any other rug when I open the door ( I can only assume that the door was installed sloppily). This rug did it! Although my door still rubs against it, it is not ripped or torn, which is incredible considering the damage my door has done to other rugs. It works well in terms of catching dirt and pet hair from the outside and I no longer have to worry about running and slipping inside after it rains. So far, so good!
