Review on Blue Ox BXW4012 Underslung Hitch by James Handy

This item is fully functional but the small knobs you have to pull up to remove the bars were almost flush making it difficult to get your finger underneath, when you remove the bars latches. I contacted Blue Ox to see if they were selling inferior items to unsuspecting customers looking to save money. They told me they changed the height of the pin to make it less likely to snag on something. i don't buy it The attached picture on the left shows the difference in pin height compared to the old version. I am an elderly person and this seemingly insignificant detail is important to me. I have returned this item for a refund, for which I am grateful. 4 stars for functionality. Works well, ergonomics could be better.
