This dust collector works as realistically possible. Does the job perfect for me. Helps dramatically reduce the amount of dust I'm breathing in, while doing my nails. Plus reduces clean up time not having to clean dust up everywhere! It's not super loud. You can still have a normal conversation at regular level while using. It has a nob on the side to adjust the suction and of course the noise adjusts with it. The more suction, the louder it sounds. Again though, even at highest suction, the sound isn't bothersome. And lastly it's a perfect weight. Not heavy, so its easy to move around if you need to. But also not super light to where it it'll move around. It has grippers on the bottom and it stays in place while I use it! I am very happy with my purchase!
