Review on Channellock 447 Curved Diagonal Cutting by Matthew Fleming

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ideal for mechanics and carpenters.

Rough workmanship, but very effective. I had to screw in about 50 drywall screws with it, no problem. They cut wire and cable just fine, but are not intended for an electrician's job in my opinion. Ideal for pulling nails, staples, cotter pins and screws. Long reach and lots of leverage. Great in the garage. These are very good wire cutters, but I wouldn't recommend them as basic side cutters for an electrician as they are not sharp and their ergonomics are not suited to an electrician's day-to-day work. They're sharp enough to cut through anything, but not as sharp as wire cutters. They are made in such a way that the blades are not damaged and last a long time. Really a great tool unlike any other I've seen.

Pros
  • Nice little thing
Cons
  • Not everything fits
