The Secret to Great Clog Clearing

I almost returned this thing after about two days of use; It stopped working due to an internal blockage and the included unblocking instructions were useless. However, with a little experimentation, I found a method that works reliably and without as much fuss as I expected. 1) Empty any remaining beans from the hopper into another container and set aside. Set the bunker aside, but empty; You will need it again soon. Set the ground coffee container, which is also empty, aside. 2) Remove the top of the burr (the handle flips up so you can twist it out) and set aside. 3) Pour the remaining coffee particles around the burrs into the top of the machine into a separate container (same as from the hopper) and set this container aside. You won't need it again until you clear the blockage. 4) DISCONNECT the machine from the POWER SUPPLY. and prepare to make a bit of a mess (the next few steps are worth doing over the sink if you can cut down on the cleaning time). You won't get everything on the first try, just take what's easy. 6) Using the same or a similar utensil, insert the chute where the coffee grounds normally come out. Remove as much of the wrapped coffee grounds as possible, then shake gently to get loose bits out. 7) Put the grinder back in its original place, plug it back in and put the bean hopper and coffee hopper back in place, but NOT the top. part of the mill. 8) Run the grinder in short (5 second) pulses until no more grist comes out. 9) Remove the funnel and funnel, then perform cleaning steps 4-8 again. By the time you make your second run, the machine should be mostly free of clogs. bunker accessible). 11) Do a 5 second burst or two to make sure everything worked, but your chopper should now be ready to use. Put the container with the beans and chunks back in the bin and grind! How can this thing break? I was trying to grind enough coffee to fill a container to take to work and the lid on top of the grinder jar on this grinder doesn't give a good view of the jar. If the thick stock builds up too high, the machine pulls back and further compresses the thick stock until it is fully seated. Lesson learned, I now remove the lid from the grounds container when I need to grind more coffee than I have in a pot. . This exposes me to a slightly higher risk of pollution, but the floor doesn't shoot badly and I can see when to toss the bin in another container.

  • Cool
