Review on 🌬️ A/C Safe AC-160 Universal Heavy-Duty Window Air Conditioning Support Bracket by Larry Daniels

Bought to have on hand although the air conditioner purchased came with its own bracket. I'm glad I did. It was possible to fit this bracket into the sash window just by drilling the inner wood sill. The bracket that came with the air conditioner had to drill a raised vinyl guide for a window or exterior vinyl frame where the holes would be exposed to rain. I didn't trust the foot that supposedly doesn't need to be drilled. It seemed as if the foot would lose traction on the wall if the air conditioner hit it from below. To make sure this didn't happen, I drove a ground nail just under the base of the leg so it wouldn't slip off even if the device was bumped. I also attached the A/C to the bracket with sheet metal screws after identifying the safe points inside the A/C.
