Freeman PWC50 Reliable and productive: my truthful feedback

Today I want to introduce you to my little friend, connected to the previously described compressor "Guede". Outwardly, it practically does not differ from the well-known building spring staplers and fundamentally from the latest and similar hammer staplers, except that the striker beats the paper clips not with the help of a spring or inertia, but with the help of an impulse compressed under pressure up to 6 atmospheres of air. Yes, it does it so famously that it releases up to 5-7 staples per second (100 clips each). In principle, in the absence of self-preservation instinct and brains, it can be used as a pneumatic-mechanical rifle: the wire flies 10-15 meters not into the material . Therefore, you need to be very careful: the trigger is very sensitive, and although, due to the low ballistic properties of the "charge", a flying paper clip cannot injure through clothing even at a minimum distance of 2-3 cm from a person, but it arrives sensitively and in any case it is necessary to protect your eyes. True, due to the fact that some people not only do not read the operating instructions, but also the nameplates on the case, and also do not bother to regulate the pressure, the thick metal of the case could not stand it, and a fistula appeared on the handle, promptly repaired by cold welding and a sheet of rubber from the bike tube. After such a garage repair, the case can withstand (so far) even 8 atmospheres, but of course there is nothing good in such a mockery of technology. And since we are talking about a violation of safety regulations, it would not be out of place to add the following to the above-mentioned ballistic side of the issue: point blank punches not only plastic (in fact, for which we use it), but also fingers right through the nails. Therefore, it is necessary either to work carefully or stock up on wire cutters so that, while the finger is dried after the impact, quickly remove the metal under such a kind of anesthesia. After 10 minutes, yes, with an actively blooming hematoma, it will be much more painful. After a minute of perversions, I will voice the main drawback due to the construct: the need to connect a hose. Without it, in fact, nowhere, but dragging the gut through four or five levels with the material under the arm, without the absence of a suspension, is a very difficult task, especially in the presence of wind and counter-creeping colleagues. Therefore, we are seriously thinking about purchasing a portable battery analog that is more appropriate for our tasks. For on- and near-Earth tasks, the equipment is quite good, reliable and well-made. And finally, a short example of what can be returned using the recall object, in about 20 minutes of work. Pros
  • Speed, impulse power, solid metal without poor Chinese plastic.
Cons
  • Unless the principle of operation is inseparable from the need to connect a compressor.
