Cute. But not as close to the screen as my last case. Another thing is that my finger hurts every time I have to close it. There is a small button that needs to be pressed to release the stand. It's right under the thing you're closing. Badly located. So I would say not child friendly. That's sad because it's a great color for kids. In my vanity I'm still glad I bought it because it's so beautiful. I just don't know how long it will last because I've resorted to completely ignoring the unlock button and just closing it. Update: The stand is broken. So either hurt yourself or break the stand. It was a waste of money.
