1/3 of the wheels had minor and major issues

I bought two sets of these to make rubber and cars with a group of kids. 1/3 of the wheels were not usable as they came. Many needed sanding and some had such severe issues, that the only thing to do with them was throw them away. The dowels were all fine.I had 10 kids to make cars for so between the two sets, I was able to get at least twelve cars made (2 for demonstrations).I won't purchase these again though.

Despite the large variety of wood wheels and sticks, the quality of the wood itself is lacking and prone to splintering and cracking.
