First helmet I bought, my hat size is 7 3/8. I also measured my head with a tape measure at 22 1/2 inches, I ordered a size up, I was really surprised at how well it fits and feels, it's not too tight or too loose on my head, it feels feels good and doesn't hurt I have no complaints while learning to ride my Harley other than it looks great! I received a compliment on how well it fits my bike. I would recommend it
