Snow rarely falls here, but when it does, the roads are treacherous and difficult to navigate. The lack of urban snow plows makes driving without snow chains almost impossible. I have tried these snow chains on my wife's car and also on my daily driver. These cars have completely different tire sizes, but this type of chain easily fits both. I found them easy, quick and easy to install. Unlike traditional snow chains, you don't lose the entire set if one breaks. Packed with snow and ice it can be a bit tricky to disengage the latch, but I also have spray cans of defroster for my windows. The defroster should have no problem melting the latch area.
