A good idea just doesn't work

Great idea, but it doesn't work. As a result, they broke the straps on several of them. Basically, if you put tires on it at all, you're going to cut the belt at some point. I do not recommend taking normal chains.

Snow chain tangled

The product looks good but is not easy to install. It took me a long time to install as I practiced installing it before using it in the snow. and the chain doesn't look very strong. I am returning this item as one of them is confused.

Terrible experience

These necklaces are a nightmare! I watched the installation video and read all about it. went great. They kept loosening up, had to stop and adjust 4 times within 3 miles. Ice and snow on the road, no asphalt. Just stupid rules. Her ratchet mechanism was completely bent and could not recover. There was a 28 degree freezing rain. Terrible experience. Of course, the return line was closed a week ago!

Don't rely on them in a deadlock.

They seem to be pretty well made until you use them. There is no force in the center of the spreader and as soon as you tighten it and then try to go forward, even at low speed, the spreader will flex and the chains will weaken. Luckily they didn't puncture the sidewall of my tire when they hit it with the edge of the metal. Stranded me and almost destroyed my tires.

Very easy to install.

Snow rarely falls here, but when it does, the roads are treacherous and difficult to navigate. The lack of urban snow plows makes driving without snow chains almost impossible. Upon initial inspection, I found that two of the six chains had crossed chain strands. I'm not entirely sure why it wasn't obvious to the people who put it together. Still, I had to bend open the end hooks on each of them, untangle the individual chains (btw, I bought a set with three strands of chain set perpendicular to the bar on each of the six), and then bend or pinch them back to their original shape. .
