Review on Water cooling system for Enermax LiqMax III 120mm processor, black/RGB by Mateusz Majchrzak ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not a good product, sorry to have spent money on it.

I have a small case (NZXT LEXA S Black) and only CBOs with one fan werecomnsidered. Packed with high quality. I was surprised by the size and weight of the radiator - very small and light even incommparison with entry-level aircomolers. During installation, while screwing the mounting strips to the pump, we managed to screw in thecommplete screws a little more than half, and that's it - no further. Thecommplete self-tapping screw, screwed into the plastic, then stops on the metal. As a result, I picked upcommputer screws from my stock and screwed them normally instead of thecommplete ones. With a small load, thecomoler is not audible, with increasing load it is audible, but withincommfort limits. My motherboard MSI Z390 GAMING EDGE AC allows you to fine-tune the speed of the pump (despite the fact that the power is 3-pin) depending on the temperature. There is poorcomntact at the junction of the RGB cable with the pump unit -comnnect carefully and tightly, then everything will be ok. At first, I installed the water block on the back wall of the case with the hoses up (see photo). As a result, when "forced turbo" for allcomres was enabled in the BIOS, the hottestcomre of my 9900KF reached 91* at maximum load. Then I found out (? v=BbGomv195sk) that installing a water block in this way is a sure way to reduce its efficiency or evenruin the pump over time. I turned the water block upside down with hoses (see photo) and installed acomoler on the back of the case - now it began to heat up to 84 *. With the default settings in the BIOS, the temperature of the hottestcomre does not exceed 72*. Added after 6 months: Forced to ate my review and change the rating from "good" to "poor". For no apparent reason, thecomoler actually stopped working, although the speed sensor showed the normal operation of the pump and fan. The temperature of the processor in idle time reached 87 *. I had to return thecomoler to the store and buy myself an Arctic Liquid Freezer ii-420 and a huge new case, but that, as they say, is another story.

Pros
  • Good performance (first six months) Quiet under light load (first six months) Efficient and silent pump - you can not hear it even at maximum speed (the first six months) Compact dimensions beautiful appearance
Cons
  • After six months of operation, it actually stopped cooling the processor It is impossible to screw in the supplied screws for installing the cooler Too long hoses. With my small body NZXT LEXA S Black this is a disadvantage Relatively noisy fan (but not the pump) at high speeds and when changing speed Unreliable contact of the RGB backlight cable with the pump unit
