These pet bowls are very shiny, nice stainless steel with a anti-slip rubber ring around the bottom to keep them from being pushed around, non-skid, non-push. We purchased the set in large, the size for labs, for our daughter's mid-size cat because he kept pushing the water bowl across the floor until it spilled. Well, I'm sure these would normally help with that, but this guy pushes the water bowl around until he gets it tipped, so these did us no good. These bowls are beautiful, but they do still slide and spill with the teenager cat. Dang cat!
