It makes a fairly robust and well-made impression. Picture quality is excellent, as you would expect for the price. It works well for portable photography setups or even as a great second laptop monitor for on the go. I love that it has a full size HDMI port instead of a mini version. It has 2 USBc ports that can be used for power and video. As another reviewer said, you can only get full brightness by providing additional power via a second USBc port, but it only works with a single cable, albeit with reduced brightness. The problem is that the monitor needs power and most USB ports on laptops (and even desktops) only supply 15 watts, which isn't enough. The sound quality is terrible and weak, but I don't think anyone can reasonably expect more from such a small device. I would say that this is quite normal in games. It's "only" 60Hz, but I think only the most competitive FPS will suffer. The lid is securely attached, which is nice. I have another portable monitor that has magnetic mounts and they never stay on. In any case, there's a fabric covering on the lid, which feels a bit more premium than the cheap plastic found on other monitors. Conclusion: excellent picture quality, miserable sound, well made, requires more power than a single cable can deliver. Very good monitor!
