I don't know if it's comfortable as my dog doesn't talk to me much about it. He doesn't seem to mind it tho. I only use it for getting him into the car. He is a cranky Old Man (16) and can't get in by himself but wants to. He "snaps" when he doesn't get his own way and hence the muzzle. Only time I use it for under a minute. Is easy to get on and off.
