After trying several types of muzzles like the plastic cage, this one suits my dog the best. It’s very easy to put on (it helps that she trusts me to put anything on her), and is easy to clean. I spruced mine up by sewing floral fabric on the sides. This actually saved a lot of hassle (and harm) this past weekend when we were with another friend and his dog. They have been getting along for years but suddenly she picked a fight with him over a tennis ball. Afterwards she would growl around him.

1st, love that this is a two pack. We adopted a 145 lb Rottweiler/Mastiff mix and had to take him to the vet for his initial check up. The muzzle has always been a precautionary measure and is only used at the time of nail clippings or Vaccines, things that may cause discomfort. Even though the vet always has muzzles in hand, I never want my dogs to go without their own. I wouldn’t want to put on something that smelled like an unknown person, so I think they would t want strange dog smells…

Lightweight and appears to be strong enough for my black lab. I fitted both muzzles with no problem. I bought it only in case she takes a nip at me while we do off leash training.

This item was a lifesaver. Our 6 month old puppy was getting very aggressive with our kids. There was a lot of negative attention being given to him. He is in training, so we think that will help. But this muzzle immediately solves the problem when the play becomes too much for the kids. He calms right down and then they are able to give him love and affection without being overpowered in return. We love it!

The clip that holds the muzzle on, DOES NOT hold at all attempted to use it to clean my dogs ears didn’t leave it on unsupervised, I even loosened the strap slightly to make sure my dogs head wasn’t popping it off but it still came off the style of the muzzle is ideal but the clip is not made for large dogs do not recommend especially if you are wanting to use unsupervised or for aggressive dogs

My little dachshund chihuahua mix is extremely stubborn. If she doesn’t want it on her, she finds a way to get it off. She tried to get this muzzle off with all her might, but it wouldn’t budge. It’s a good quality product & the sizing was perfect. She can lick through it, but she can’t bite. I’m so glad I can have her out when I have people over now without worrying about her biting someone. Great product.

WE LOVE THESE MUZZLES! We purchased the Large for our German Shepard/Collie mix and they're perfect! We haven't even had to use the second one yet, and these were purchased months ago. We've had issues with him being able to get other ones off, but so far so good with these! He can still eat/drink/pant/etc, he just can't open his jaw enough to bark. He doesn't appear to be uncomfortable whatsoever in them, which is also a plus! Will be purchasing again in the future if these ones ever break…

Would not buy, Much too long on the snout for a standard German Shepard. Was into his eyelids when on.Velco to strap around nose often became loosened on its own and certainly when lightly scratched at with his paw, when nose part went into his eye.Returned. Opps . . . . . too late by 5 days !

I recently purchased this for my pit bull for when I’m walking him outside and after a month it was broken. it is not durable at all for large dogs. I did like that it came with 2 muzzles so I had a back up until I purchased another muzzle for my dog. I would recommend spending a little more money to get better quality.

Good product, but doesn't work for head-shape, nose size of an Akita. Nothing wrong with product, but simply not good for shorter snout large northern breeds.

The product was fine for about the first week, then I noticed that my pup had a bloody sore on the bottom of his mouth due to the material rubbing. Wouldn’t recommend due to the material and rubbing.

I bought these not to stop dogs from biting, I got these to stop my dogs from barking at neighbors when they are in their yards. I don't have to put them on anymore I just show them to the dogs and they shut up.

It works good. My pup obviously hated it in the beginning, but we were using for training. he got used to it quickly, fortunately so I don't believe it is uncomfortable. he is really intelligent and I have only needed to use a few times. They are convenient to travel with and easy to put on and take off.

My elderly dog barks a lot due to frustration of not being able to get up and detachment issues with me. This muzzle does not stop the barking only muffles it some.

It's a good product sturdy durable but my dog is part shar pei so he has wrinkles that help him manuvre out of anything so this will not work for him.

The muzzle for the most part does its purpose. Our dog can drink water and does bark at times. I noticed the muzzle has a calming effect. I purchased another similar product elsewhere, and I paid a lot less.

Muzzles were very nicely made and appear to be strong. However, I purchased the Medium/Large which said was for german shepherds. I have an 85 pound female and a 100 pound male. The muzzles were too small for either of the dogs. The strap would not go around their head as required. The muzzle part fit the female but two small for the male. Very fast shipping.

I received both and they fit ok.not great but i'm using it in case I have to take my two alpha dogs to a tornado shelter, so hopefully only used every once in a while. One thing to note is that I received two black ones and was hoping for two separate colors so I don't have to identify which dog gets what muzzle. Also the adjustment is a bit of a pain so be aware you may not get two separate colors.

Sizing chart wasn't helpful. Got the wrong size and it looked so uncomfortable, pushing up on the eyes. It was too big so I tried it on my bigger dog (doesn't need it but just to see the size) and it fit but still looked very uncomfortable
