1st, love that this is a two pack. We adopted a 145 lb Rottweiler/Mastiff mix and had to take him to the vet for his initial check up. The muzzle has always been a precautionary measure and is only used at the time of nail clippings or Vaccines, things that may cause discomfort. Even though the vet always has muzzles in hand, I never want my dogs to go without their own. I wouldn’t want to put on something that smelled like an unknown person, so I think they would t want strange dog smells either LOL. This muzzle is great, it is adjustable around the head but also around the snout. The adjustable snout has very sturdy Velcro that does not budge. I would recommend and purchase this item again
