I'm using this on a four monitor desktop running a Radeon R9 280X. I have a Dell U2913WM monitor and three Asus VN248H-P monitors. Under the Catalyst 14.6 drivers I was able to expand all four monitors and life got better. I have connected Dell via DisplayPort and Asus monitors via HDMI and 2 DVI to HDMI cables. When the Catalyst 14.9 drivers were released in October 2014, something broke and I couldn't get a fourth monitor to expand with my graphics card. I reverted to Catalyst 14.6 and continued to use it until Catalyst 14.12 was released. This didn't solve the problem. Last weekend I updated the Catalyst drivers to version 15.3 beta but they still don't work. I was fully prepared to buy an NVidia card as they say it works better with 4 monitors. On a whim I chose this 2-port MST hub and connected a Dell via DisplayPort, an Asus Visa Displayport to an active DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, an Asus via HDMI, and a third Asus via a DVI to HDMI cable. All four monitors immediately become expandable again and I can also set up Eyefinity on three Asus monitors. Now life is back to normal. And all thanks to this little thing. If you're trying to set up four monitors with the latest Catalyst drivers, this little guy is your ticket to multi-monitor bliss. I don't know why the AMD drivers no longer support my configuration (or if it ever should work, but it worked), but it saved me hundreds of dollars!
