Damaged my monitor; may work well for certain monitors.

At first glance, this product seems to work well on some monitors. Your mileage may vary. If you have three identical monitors, this product will likely work. But here are the problems I've unfortunately encountered and I hate to write bad reviews but these are the facts: 1. It doesn't work properly for 2 of my monitors. This shifts the image to reveal a black bar using only 90% of the available pixels. No change in display settings in Windows will fix this.2. It punched out a bunch of pixels…

I'm using this on a four monitor desktop running a Radeon R9 280X. I have a Dell U2913WM monitor and three Asus VN248H-P monitors. Under the Catalyst 14.6 drivers I was able to expand all four monitors and life got better. I have connected Dell via DisplayPort and Asus monitors via HDMI and 2 DVI to HDMI cables. When the Catalyst 14.9 drivers were released in October 2014, something broke and I couldn't get a fourth monitor to expand with my graphics card. I reverted to Catalyst 14.6 and…

perfect for an extended desktop on two monitors

I've been using it for a week and it works great. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, everyone in my office has been instructed to work from home. My home setup is an Asus ROG 752 gaming laptop with a wireless keyboard and mouse connected to two 24-inch monitors through this MST hub. In extended desktop mode, the laptop screen is displayed on one monitor while the desktop is extended onto a second monitor. The only configuration that was required after connecting the MST hub was setting the…

Did the trick for three monitors

I was tearing my hair out trying to find a solution to attach three 27 inch AOC monitors I just bought to my Lenovo Connect Legion laptop. I tried a more expensive station dock ($150) with port replication for USB, LAN, SD, etc. and it couldn't see any of my monitors. I chose this dongle because it was inexpensive and simple. As a last resort, I was willing to sell one of my monitors on Craigslist to recoup some of my losses. I am very happy with this key and it does exactly what I need. It can

Garbage straight out of the box.

I was enjoying a beautiful morning in my home office with coffee in hand, the sound of the rain was taking me to dreamland when I was suddenly woken up by an epileptic flash of my monitors struggling with this display product correctly. Once after a seizure I got up off the floor, spilled my coffee and saw that only one of the monitors was showing video. My CGI was able to make out the darkened display, so I grabbed my 3rd year hat from the top of the closet, tightened my chin strap, and stared

Works great with Surface Pro 3+ Dock and two HDMI monitors

EDIT: I purchased and installed this in February 2018. It's now March 2020 and it's still working great. I've just started working from home and bought a second one for my work laptop. It works great too. This MST hub works great with my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tablet and Microsoft Dock 3Q9-00001. Display port on the docking station. I use it with two monitors that have HDMI inputs. I bought cables that go from DisplayPort to HDMI. Here is the link for the DisplayPort to HDMI cables (copy and…

Works well, with many limitations.

This product works and does what it promises, but with a few limitations. It's pretty finicky and an absolute nightmare to set up and get working properly. If you're using this to run non-Displayport monitors, you're in for a long day of setup and setup. It's not just plug and play, it's plug and pray. I use it on nVidia Quadro K2200 to support 4 monitors. If the two devices you're connecting to it are native Displayport monitors, it will most likely work without too much trouble. If it's…
