I gave this bassinet 5 stars because it is so large and well made. I recently had a Fisher Price cradle which I sold because it was too complicated - too many buttons and noise. This cradle is simple and very large. The drop down side is wonderful and easy to maneuver. I've included a photo of the retractable mechanism that allows you to lower the side panel and it snaps back into place when you're done (very easy)! The storage basket at the bottom is very large but has no real support so I would store light items like diapers, clothes, blankets, etc. here. What impressed me the most about this bassinet was the size. I put my 3.5 year old in there to give an idea of how tall he is. I'll probably put a bassinet insert or baby bouncer (kind of a toddler walker) in it when our baby is born and he/she is small. The chaise longue is then removed and used at its full size for about 4/5 months. There are also adjustable handles on the sides to make the carrycot taller or shorter to bend and accommodate the baby, which is comfortable after birth. If you are looking for something simple but effective that is still big and can be used for a while then this is for you. It rolls very well on tile and carpet and also has brakes on the wheels. Looks like it's going to be a great bassinet when our baby arrives.
