Review on LifeStraw Go Water Filter Bottle: The Ultimate 2-Stage Integrated Filter Straw for Hiking Adventures by Ryan Maruffo

This fantastic water bottle is a must-have for on the go! I bought it before my trip to Havana and I was very satisfied. I've filled it from every type of faucet in Cuba (public toilets, hoses, kitchen sinks) and haven't had any health issues - it definitely makes the water drinkable! It was a lot easier and less wasteful than looking everywhere for bottled water. A filter doesn't improve the taste at all, so don't expect pure spring water, but it will keep you disease-free. It also requires more suction than a straw bottle without a filter - remember you're literally pushing water through the filter. It's not difficult for me to drink from it, but the effort required to drink it definitely takes some getting used to. I've also used it on hikes in the US and it's very comfortable! This is much easier than carrying around a separate filter. I wish the capacity of this bottle was a bit larger as the filter itself takes up a decent amount of capacity in the bottle. Aside from that, this cap and filter combo also fits my 32oz wide-mouth Nalgene, making it easy enough to switch bottles.
