Review on Lisle 77080 Harmonic Balancer Socket by Eric Weber

Revainrating 5 out of 5

UNBELIEVABLE! Even with my old Craftsman 1/2 " impact wrench.

Situation: 1998 Civic 1.6L. Needed a new crankshaft position sensor but had to remove the crankshaft pulley. The bolt was too tight. Task: The bolt had to be loosened become but stubborn Action: I have impact sockets and a fairly old Craftsman impact wrench model 875.199870 That wasn't enough Probably tried ten or fifteen times with the correct 50mm tool to hold the pulley still Action other than actually twisting the Extensions. Like a giant spring but it didn't break. I was afraid I would break the crowbar. Then I saw a video from Eric Race Car Driver recommending 125psi air pressure. And tried one more ten times Bang. Still unsuccessful. Then I ordered this part and Ingersoll's Strike. This item arrived first and I was impatient to a So I decided to give it a try without waiting for Ingersoll to arrive. E. Result: This tool plus 125 psi line pressure plus my old Craftsman impact wrench broke on the second try. goes straight to the bolt instead of deflecting and stretching. Wonderful. Buy this tool before you need it. Because at some point you will need it. I ordered it yesterday afternoon and it arrived this morning. Very satisfied. If you have a Honda and you do your work, buy it before you need it.
