Review on Portable Acoustics JBL Charge 4, 30W, grey by Ada Fedorowicz ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Low quality, I will not buy this anymore.

Here and now you need a portable speaker. Earlier, I heard from a friend how Charge 3 sounds. Therefore, when I ended up in an offline official store that was nearby, I considered JBL. The choice was between Link Portable and Charge 4. A cursory review of reviews on the market showed that Link Portable has a lower rating than Charge 4, and the last column was generally touted in all directions. Well, I bought it. I came home, unpacked it, turned it on and. I was upset from the first second of listening. I would forgive such a sound to cheaper analogues, but not JBL. There are lows only when nothing else sounds in the party. For example, if the song starts with a kick drum, then the bass is heard, but as soon as speech or other instruments (high, medium) enter, then that's it, the bass is over. Same with the high ones. If the song starts with some ringing instruments, or soprano, then it's still fine, but as soon as other instruments appear, everything falls into a mess. And only the middle ones are heard always and everywhere. At low and high volumes, the mids scream over everything else. Feeling like listening to a Chinese column for 3,000. Well, in addition, since the column was needed quickly, after the purchase, I found out that it has a monophonic sound. Knowing this when buying, I would not buy it. But there is no mention of this anywhere on the box.

Pros
  • - Connection speed - Dimensions - Powerbank function - Type C
Cons
  • - Sound quality. For a portable speaker, this is the most important aspect!
