Review on Samsung Galaxy S10E GSM Unlocked πŸ“± Phone with Dual 12MP Camera and 128GB Storage by Hongseok Bak ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

BATTERY To begin with, I will tell you what settings I have: average battery saver mode, LTE is disabled, Always-On-Display is disabled, GPS is turned on as needed, OneUI dark theme. With these settings: a) if you talk on the phone for 30 minutes a day, sit on Whatsapp/Instagram/YouTube for 2 hours, use .Navigator for 4 hours, then the charge is enough for exactly one day. b) if you do the same, but do not turn on the navigator, then after 24 hours 50% of the charge remains. c) 4% of the charge is consumed overnight It seems to me that for a 3100mAh battery and such a powerful filling, a day and a half is a normal result. But if they put a 4000mAh battery, it would be better. SCREEN When compared with the older models of the line: on the S10e, the screen brightness is the same over the entire surface, and on the S10 and S10+, the image is darker at the curved edges. And if you turn the S10 at an angle to the eye, then the curved edge of the screen becomes brighter. The AMOLED screen has a weak point: it quickly burns out in places where a white image is often displayed. My wife on the Samsung S7, due to frequent viewing of YouTube, the lower part of the screen burned out (became dimmer), because it displays text on a white background. Now we have a dark theme in YouTube on both phones. CAMERAS Haven't had time to test them yet. I recommend visiting the Dxomark dot com website. These guys test smartphone cameras on a variety of parameters and rate each camera. FINGERPRINT'S SCANNER The scanner is located slightly above the place where the thumb hits when you take the smartphone in your hands. Therefore, you have to stretch your thumb up a little. The scanner works quickly and without errors, except when the hands are wet. ONEUI A well-thought-out shell, in which a lot has been done in order to save your strength. For example, swiping down anywhere on the home screen opens the notifications panel (no need to reach to the top of the screen). Or another example: in the regular file manager, the action bar with the selected file is displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Pros
  • + feels light and small in the hand + screen in the entire surface, no mono-eyebrow, no bends + cameras at the level of other flagships + large built-in flash memory (no external card needed) + productivity in excess
Cons
  • - the battery is small - the fingerprint scanner is located a little high - no notification LED - useless Bixby key that I couldn't remap These shortcomings are not critical for me. Rather, it is a reflection on how to make the product even better.
