Review on P&P CHEF Mixing Bowls With Convenient Lids: The Perfect Kitchen Companion! by Kevin Swier

I DO NOT recommend these bowls: corrosion and pitting with use.

I've had this bowl set for less than two years and I think it's well made. Unfortunately I'm disappointed. First the GOOD: These are nesting bowls that fit together snugly and tightly so they take up minimal space. The lids fit snugly - although I haven't put them in the dishwasher I'm not sure how they will handle it. I really like how the colors of the lid match the base of the bowls for easy identification. I also really like the non-slip silicone underside. The bowls have internal dimensions to make measuring on the go easier. Now the BAD: I've noticed discoloration on a bowl over the past few months but haven't paid much attention to it. I cut my finger yesterday due to a rusted hole on the inside wall of this bowl. If you look closely you can see many holes around the inside edge where the bottom of the lid will sit. Inspecting the rest of the set of bowls, they all have micro-pits that start at the same level, right where the bottom of the lid meets the inner wall. I refuse to continue using them for fear of shards of microscopic metal flakes ending up in my food. Metal rusts over time, I get that. However, they should have been much more durable! I do not recommend anyone to buy them as they are not safe.
