I have been using this product for several months now and it has not been worn or damaged and the non-stick coating on my pans has not been damaged. It's dishwasher safe and super clean as the little built in stand keeps everything but the handle and stand from touching the counter. Paper towels or a rug are not required to prevent the spread of dirt. I've used it to boil eggs, flip pancakes and stir a variety of other dishes. It's definitely worth its price and makes a brilliant addition to any kitchen.
