Review on Dorman 38448 Door Striker Bolt by Seth Gibbons
The quality is good, but it didn't fit.
The application manual said it would fit my 1993 Ford F150 but it didn't. The diameter of the jamb is too large to fully close the door. It snaps into place on the 1st click but doesn't fit in the gap on the 2nd click. I'm wondering if Dorman 38445 is the part I need. I ended up wrapping the old pole in thick heat shrink tubing and reusing it. Let's see how it holds up.
