Review on 🐠 Ceramic Media for biOrb Aquariums by Holly Hunter

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fine, but do your research. Not suitable for most plants and soil dwellers.

This is a great substrate if you know what you are working with. Read the information before you buy a Biobor! The substrate is not suitable for bottom dwellers because it is too large and shrimp and crabs do not get the food they need (and also get stuck). This substrate is excellent for goldfish and large algae-eating snails that cannot get stuck underneath. This is beautiful and works great, but limits the amount of plants and fish you can get. As long as you research, you'll be fine.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Expensive
