First, it doesn't work like the $124 Apple Pen. No Bluetooth, no pairing. The instructions that came with the stylus do not show how the stylus works with the iPad. I had to watch 2 videos to find out. There are also explanatory instructions on the product page, towards the end of the description. This pen writes well when used. However, there is an annoying quirk that turns off unexpectedly. I kept writing and found that the pen stopped responding. Looking down at the power indicator, I see it's off and I KNOW I didn't touch the power button. Also, the "eraser" on the pen is an on/off touch switch. It can be activated by lightly touching any part of the body, such as the face or chest, and even through layers of clothing. The power switch is activated, typically from the ON to the OFF position. It also causes irritation if separated during use. The stylus charges via a USB-C connection - it doesn't charge via the iPad at all like the Apple Pen. Also, the pen slides well on the protective screen. my iPad, although it has some trouble writing on certain parts of the screen. Works well with the Note app for iPad as well as the Notability app, although it doesn't have a pressure-sensitive feature. There is no "pressing" of the pen to change the brush type; You have to explicitly click on the controls to erase, change brush and size, etc. The magnetic capture feature works well. A good pen for the price, but then again, this isn't an Apple Pen that has a lot more features than it does. If this unexpected shutdown issue persists, I will return this stylus and receive a suitable iPad stylus.
