Extends signal but difficult to set up

Most important: does it work? Yes. I took it on vacation and used it in a 220V European house with thick cement walls where WiFi had never arrived at home. We had a good signal. We had 4 or 5 devices running it and there was no degradation or sluggishness. Luckily I played with it at home before going on a trip. I consider myself moderately tech savvy and was still having trouble setting up this expander. This is the technological equivalent of Ikea furniture! Instructions become clearer AFTER you know how to set it up, but lacks information for a beginner. Additionally, if you're halfway done and want to start over, there are certain procedures that are omitted from the instructions. I called tech support and got help right away so I can say they are clearly better than most Chinese sellers. The success once gave me no confidence that this would happen again (it was more luck than a planned outcome), so I restarted the extender and tried again on a friend's router, then returned to my house again. Most people won't need that much practice or experience, but it was good to be able to explain this to my wife so she could repeat the steps too and get it working. I don't know how this power strip compares to others, but in today's plug and play world, the buyer should know that there is a little more patience and work involved than unpacking and plugging it in. (Important note: if you have and use the WPS button on your router, setup takes literally seconds and is easy. Not all routers have this button.) Would recommend, with a caveat from Ikea!
