I was looking for an inexpensive D/A converter to reproduce the absolute best sound for Sennheiser + Massdrop HD 58X Jubilee headphones and Philip SHP9500 headphones . . I saw the reviews on this device and decided to give it a try. I can't say anything about the connection to other devices. CONSTRUCTION/DESIGN: The Neotek DAC Size B Surround consists of a robust, high-quality aluminum metal housing. The front and back of the Neotek DAC are made of the same material, except the aluminum-metal finish is matte, aluminum-metal. In addition, the DAC is heat resistant. The interface is gold plated, reducing signal transmission loss. PS4/PS4 PRO SETUP: Cannot talk through connections to other devices. This is a setting for PS4 Pro and PS4 users. Setting up your PS4 or PS4 Pro is easy. First, connect the included optical cable from the DAC to the optical cable port on the back of your PS4 or PS4 Pro. Then connect the included USB cable from the DAC to the USB port on the front of your PS4 or PS4 Pro. This is the power supply for the DAC. Finally, connect the 3.5mm headset cable to the headset port. This completes the installation instructions. TON: Attention! This little device has it all. VERY atmospheric. Still, I had to turn the 9-position volume knob to level 3, which is loud in and of itself. My 58X Jubilee and SHP9500 are already excellent. However, the addition of this DAC made the headphones sound incredibly phenomenal. More sounds are captured during gameplay than ever before.
