These are my favorite socks after two 12 hour shifts in the hospital. I'm on my feet most of the day. By the third day, not only am I exhausted, but wearing the wrong socks will only make my foot pain worse. However, when I wear these socks, the pain is bearable and sometimes I have no pain at all. I've bought other brands and found that the compression isn't enough (my feet still hurt a lot) or they shrink with every wash. It was a real PITA the first few times, but after trying other brands it became easier to put on. So I came back to thinking about buying 2 more pairs to complete 3 and hopefully get layers from heaven. A few more pluses - my feet don't smell that bad anymore after wearing them. They survived and I had them for about 8 months. I have a green pair.
