I have two of these. They seem to work fine with NVMe drives, just plug the drive into the card, plug it in and then go into diskmgr and initialize the drive. Things get weird with SATA SSDs, though. I couldn't get it to work with them. One of the things I read about was enabling AHCI in the BIOS, but that didn't seem to work because it was already enabled. My motherboard has two M.2 slots, one has an NVMe drive and the other has a SATA drive, so AHCI is already enabled.
