I live in Utah and when it snows you have to wear snow chains to get to the ski slopes and last week I was pulled over by a highway patrol officer and asked why I didn't have snow chains on my tires. that were on my tires and said I had to wait until he got confirmation from the dispatcher as to whether they were legal or not.
