My recorder is not used much. I use it for grocery lists, to-do lists, or when I leave the house and want something interesting to remember when I get home - pretty much anything I want to remember. I say it's easy to use because I don't record long meetings or anything like that, but one day it worked in my wallet without me knowing (you can program it so it doesn't happen accidentally, but I've never worried) and He actually logged all of my grocery shopping. Shopping with my young daughter and I could hear everything we were talking about and all her singing and everything very clearly. A previous review said something about the display not being able to be turned off which was draining the batteries BUT it has been 5 months and I have had to replace the batteries once and the current battery is showing more than half a charge. My only complaint would be that the clock is a 24 hour clock. Otherwise, this is a great little tool for those of you who just want to help remember things.
