Three and a half stars

Bought for lectures. I usually sit in the back, but the sound quality is still pretty decent. The playback function is decent (also very funny with the chipmunk voice). ha ha. Either way, the person who said their batteries don't drain that much must be confused! This little git drains my batteries every two weeks! Ouch! Another bad thing is that it feels flimsy - you know, like cheap plastic - and scratches easily. I can't compare it to any other recorder as this is my first and only recorder.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Only available in black

Nothing superfluous, fully functional

I am a program manager who needs to capture a lot of details in different meetings. Electronic notes are the only way to keep track. After my last microcassette recorder broke the tape, I decided to go full digital. Sony ICD-B25 has the best value for money. Five folders with 99 messages each. My favorite feature is the ability to index by topic on the fly. Showed it to my daughter and she said can I download MP3s to it? I said no, but you can record any audio source into the microphone jack…

Pros
  • Certified GOLS
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Great product for easy application!

My recorder is not used much. I use it for grocery lists, to-do lists, or when I leave the house and want something interesting to remember when I get home - pretty much anything I want to remember. I say it's easy to use because I don't record long meetings or anything like that, but one day it worked in my wallet without me knowing (you can program it so it doesn't happen accidentally, but I've never worried) and He actually logged all of my grocery shopping. Shopping with my young daughter…

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Requires power outlet

Again, Sony is not Ballonne.

In general, Sony does pretty good stuff. Of course, I will steer clear of such brand bias as I write this. But even if: I have mostly positive feedback on this recorder. The sound quality is just incredible. In fact, the speaker sucks a bit, but I wouldn't expect more from something that has such high power consumption and preferred size limitations. I admit that there are some oddities in the device's interface (like searching and moving messages), as well as the fact that some functions…

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Market availability

I bought a Sony Digital Voice Recorder (ICD-B25) eleven days ago. The first day I used it with minimal features. The high and low sensitivity settings as well as the SP and LP functions were sufficient for use that day. The second night I explored more features and was pleasantly surprised by the device's ease of use and practicality. On the fourth night, I used advanced features like adding to posts, post sharing, indexing, and more. I tested all functions and they all work. The manual is easy

Pros
  • . Just amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Great recorder small keys

Really 4.5 stars. But it wasn't a choice. It's a very capable device for the price, although I focused on clarity and record-breaking times. So I'm amazed at the clarity of the recording even in Long Play (LP) mode. Compared to another one I used (Olympus VN-90) there is no comparison. There is almost no hiss in LP (like the BH-90), but the voice sounds a bit like speaking into a tin can. But even then it's not bad. You could run this unit in LP mode all the time and, in my opinion, miss very…
