Review on 🧼 2 lb Premium Organic Goats Milk Glycerin Melt and Pour Soap Base - Natural & Pure by Jessica Lewis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I can't believe I waited this long to mix my own soap! So pleasant!

I have to admit I was scared to make my own soap. My first batch of melt and pour soap was great in this cupcake sized mold. It's frozen in the fridge overnight. I added some pearlescent glitter, a dropper of the yarrow and violet oil blend, and dusted the rest of the Kona coffee on the bottom to make it flaky and rough. 2 pounds made 12 full size buns usable and will probably last me for years. But I plan to give half as a gift to my women's Bible study group. The soap has a good lather. I can't wait to experiment with this product and my massive collection of Doterra EOs. Warning. I melted over 2.5 (out of 10 levels) heat on the stove and it spattered and burned the top of my arm. It was all my fault, but be very careful! If this happens to you, make sure you have some lavender essential oil to apply to any burn and your skin will recover too sweetly.

Pros
  • What is "glycerin soap"? Glycerine soap = real soap! By "real soap" we mean soap made from natural vegetable oils, alkalis with little or no additives such as detergents, parabens, preservatives or other chemical compounds. Glycerin soap is made (primarily) from coconut and palm oil, although other oils such as olive or argan oil can also be used. When making soap, vegetable oils are converted into soap and glycerin. Glycerin is a vegan oil and a powerful "humectant" — a substance that attracts and retains moisture. Leaving the glycerin in the soap results in a gentle and balanced soap. When MORE glycerine is added during the soap making process, the result is a clear, transparent soap unmatched for its softness and moisturizing properties. Hence the name "glycerin soap".
Cons
  • Some bugs

You should really try to make your own goat milk soap, because this is a waste of money.
