Nilight Rock Lights, good budget option

Don't hot these lights in freezing temperatures and in the garage. So I have to sit and watch them for a couple of weeks. Where else could I use them? They're about the right size to hide under the rails on my truck bed, but are a bit wider. They would be nice to light up the body of your truck. I would use all six for this task. They would also be good lights to use in a truck bed cover. Just remember to orient them so that they don't shine in your eyes when you open the lid. I think they would also make good camping lights on a landing gear. They are well made and do not get hot with prolonged use. While mocking the lights to determine where I want to mount them, I left them on for about an hour and they were only slightly warm. Also, since they're LEDs, the battery doesn't have any real power draw that I'd be concerned about. I think they can be left on overnight and you should still be able to start your truck (if it has a good battery). They have a good finish on the aluminum body and the cables are long enough to connect to the power harness. That being said if you look at the pics I think that with a full size truck I really need more light to get the amount of light I want to fully illuminate the area. Tires, front and rear of the truck. Each of the stone lanterns gives off a lot of light, it's the size of a truck and I have areas I'd like to light up but the lights just can't reach. My plan is to use two stone lanterns for each wheel. and two evenly distributed under the cab. I also want at least one light in front and behind the truck so the viewer can easily see obstacles without a separate light source. Now let's find more light sources!

Pros
  • Accent and off-road lighting
Cons
  • Pretty good
