I have a laptop with only 2 USB Type-A ports and one USB-C port. I needed more USB-A ports, so I grabbed this adapter. It works well for my needs and so far I haven't had any issues with 2-3 devices connected to it. A couple of ports on it are USB 2.0, which may or may not concern you, but I was fine with that. I've had some issues in the past with some 2.0 devices not working properly with USB 3.0 ports, so personally for me it's a nice touch to have additional 2.0 ports. The product looks well made and looks pretty good in my opinion.
